January 13th, 2006 will see the premiere show and official opening of Viennas finest new gallery, "Inoperable."

With a goal of focusing on young contemporary art (kunst), mainly in the fields of Street Art, Pop Surrealism, and Lowbrow Art, the owner, Nicholas Platzer aka 401RUSH, hopes to inspire a new trend and way of thinking in the often considered conservative Vienna.

The opening group exhibition will feature a variety of works on different mediums by various artists from around the world. The works will all be noticeably different except for the fact that they will all somehow incorporate the the new galleries name "Inoperable." The idea behind the show is to first show the wide range and quality of work that will travel through the doors of "Inoperable," second, hopefully inspire a large group of artists to create, and finally secure the name and reputation of the gallery in the minds of the Viennese people.

Mit dem Focus auf junge kontemporäre Kunst, speziell in den Bereichen Street Art, Pop Surrealism, und Lowbrow Art erhofft der Galerist Nicholas Platzer, aka 401RUSH, im oft als konservativ betrachteten Wien neue Trends als auch Sichtweisen zu etablieren. Die Eröffnung der Gruppenausstellung wird eine Vielfalt an Arbeiten in verschiedenen Medien und von unterschiedlichen Künstlern aus der ganzen Welt beinhalten.

Die Arbeiten werden alle deutlich wahrnehmbar Unterschiede aufweisen, auch wenn sie alle den Galerienamen „Inoperable“ als Thema aufnehmen. Die dahinterstehende Idee ist, als erstes den Umfang sowie die Qualität der Arbeiten, die in der Galerie zusehen sein werden, aufzuzeigen. Als zweites möglichst einer großen Gruppe an Künstlern die Chance zur Inspiration zu geben und letztendlich den Namen und die Reputation der Galerie in den Köpfen der Wiener zu sichern.
