ABCK being Amber Bignell and Claudio Kirac. Their illustrative drawings, photocopy zines, handmade toys, photography and collages embrace the pop and mania of eclecticism. With Extensive and varied inspirations, from Marcel Proust, experimental music, human anatomy, religious icons and haute couture, they investigate the crossover of boundaries between art and pop couture. With Claudio’s roots in fashion and design and Amber’s in medicine, the pair come together to create their own type of pop philosophy, that explores meanings and opens doors for the interpretation of the onlooker.
